2026–2027 Beta Year • Funder & Sponsor Summary
JRX Academy
A year-round learning community for ages 5–19 in Southwest Florida, built to educate the whole student — academics, character, contribution, and well-being.
The model
A predictable day: core academics in focused blocks, movement every day, shared meals, Specials Quests in Arts, Athletics, Leadership, Law, Academics, Hospitality and Technology, an After School Program, and small-group mentoring before dismissal. Every student is known by name by adults who see them daily, and learning ends in work a student can point to and explain.
Who it serves
Students ages 5–19 through full-time enrollment, hybrid and homeschool support, after-school, weekend, and summer programs. The Beta Year opens with a small founding cohort so the model is tested honestly before it is scaled.
What is already built
- Published model: Four Foundations, Specials Quests, stages of learning
- A full daily rhythm from before school through evening mentoring
- Live admissions, family portal, attendance and reporting systems
- Student Quest tracking, journals, and weekly review in use
- Published governance, stewardship, and safeguarding structure
- A staged campus plan with costs, through Future Campus 2036
What students are building: Quests
A Quest is a student's own project with a named goal, a first move, and evidence at the end. Students plan it, a mentor approves it, and progress is tracked in the portal until the work is finished and shown. Examples from the current Quest library:
- Ten-Day Skill Sprint
- Pick one small skill you have always wanted and practice it for ten days in a row, tracking what changes.
- Neighborhood Service Mission
- Find a real need close to home, organize a small team, and complete a service project people can point at.
- Build Something That Works
- Design and build a working thing — an app, a machine, a tool — that solves a problem you personally have.
- Season of Training
- Commit to a full training season with a measurable goal, a written plan, and honest weekly numbers.
What funding makes possible
- Scholarships & access

- Mentors & people
- Recruiting, training, and retaining specialists and mentors.
