Part 1
What Is a Body of Work?
Your Body of Work is the collection of evidence that shows your learning, practice, growth, contribution, and development over time.
It might contain:
- writing, art, research, academic work
- photographs, videos, performances
- designs, prototypes, presentations
- certificates and Quest products
- service projects and leadership evidence
- competition results, reflections, feedback, data
- before-and-after examples and other evidence of what you can do
Some pieces may be excellent. Some may be unfinished. Some may show where you struggled. That matters too. A Body of Work is strongest when it shows development, not just polished results.
Your work should tell a story
Imagine looking at your Body of Work three years from now. You should be able to see:
- where you started
- what you practiced
- what became difficult
- what you changed
- what you mastered
- what you created
- how your thinking developed
- what responsibilities you learned to carry
- and where your interests began leading you
Your Body of Work answers: What have I actually learned to do?
