Conceptual rendering of the long-term JRX Academy Future Campus 2036 vision.

JRX Academy Long-Term Vision

Future Campus 2036

A new model of education is taking shape in Southwest Florida.

JRX Academy is developing a long-term vision for a world-class leadership academy where young people create, compete, lead, and solve real problems through exceptional opportunities in arts, athletics, law, hospitality, technology, and real-world learning.

This future campus is designed to help students discover their gifts, build competence, lead with purpose, and use what they learn to strengthen their families, communities, and humanity.

Long-Term Vision Disclaimer: Future Campus 2036 is a planning vision and long-term aspiration. It is not a description of facilities or services currently available. Final plans, programmes, timelines, capacity, costs, and development phases remain subject to feasibility studies, fundraising, regulatory approvals, land acquisition, design, and construction.

The Vision

More Than a Campus.

Future Campus 2036 is not being designed around buildings alone. It is being designed around what young people can become when education connects identity, competence, leadership, creativity, discipline, meaningful relationships, and real-world contribution.

Students will not simply prepare for life after school. They will create meaningful work, lead teams, compete at high levels, operate real enterprises, solve community problems, and build evidence of what they can do.

JRX Academy's goal is to develop a local pipeline of leaders, artists, athletes, professionals, and entrepreneurs while becoming a destination school that attracts families, talent, partnerships, and investment to Southwest Florida.

"Students create, compete, lead, and solve real problems through world-class opportunities."

Identity

Leadership Is the Identity.

JRX Academy will be known first as a world-class leadership academy.

Leadership will not be treated only as a subject. Students will practise leadership through real responsibility, enterprise, public speaking, student government, civic action, law, mentorship, service, teamwork, and measurable community impact.

Students will learn to understand themselves, direct their development, build competence, lead with character, and use their gifts to strengthen others.

Leadership through responsibility.

Leadership through contribution.

Leadership through action.

Signature Development Pathways

Four Pathways. One Standard of Excellence.

Arts & Creative Production

A School Built for Creators.

JRX Academy will be designed as a world-class creator academy—an educational studio ecosystem where students develop, produce, publish, perform, and distribute original content.

Athletics

Broad Participation. Elite Pathways.

Athletics will help every student develop health, discipline, teamwork, resilience, confidence, and leadership. Selected students will also have access to advanced competitive pathways in:

Law

Pre-Law and Law for Life.

JRX Academy's primary law offering will be a rigorous pre-law pathway for students interested in legal careers, public policy, advocacy, government, and civic leadership. The wider student population will also receive access to legal literacy through:

Hospitality

Students Learn by Operating Real Enterprises.

Hospitality will centre on authentic student-run campus enterprises. Students may help operate:

Programmes and facilities described above are conceptual and reflect JRX Academy's long-term planning. They are not currently available in the form described.

Boarding & Family Housing

A Residential Learning Community.

The long-term campus will primarily serve day students while offering boarding for approximately 250 students ages 14–19.

The first permanent-campus phase is expected to open with approximately 50 boarding students, allowing JRX Academy to establish a strong residential culture intentionally and responsibly.

Family housing will be a core feature of the campus model.

Every household receives support. Every household contributes to the community it helps create.

The Family Village

  • ~10 apartments
  • ~10 townhomes
  • ~5 accessible or detached homes

Housing may support

  • Families relocating so a student can attend
  • Families experiencing temporary instability
  • Staff and faculty households

Village amenities may include

  • Childcare
  • Wellness & counselling
  • Family education
  • Shared meals
  • Gardens
  • Recreation
  • Household support
  • Community spaces

Final housing eligibility, occupancy requirements, financial models, support services, and participation expectations will be developed through legal, financial, policy, and programme review.

The Road to 2036

Start Right. Build Right. Scale Right.

  1. 2027–2028

    Launch the Flagship

Open a mall-based hybrid flagship serving approximately 50 full-time students while providing programmes for students from partner schools and community organisations.

  2. 2030

    Build the First 250-Student Academy

Grow the flagship to approximately 250 full-time students and extend the complete JRX pathway to approximately 500 additional students through partner schools and organisations. Partner-pathway students may earn the same core JRX credentials when they meet the same standards and provide equivalent evidence.

  3. 2032

    Secure the Future Campus Site

Target the acquisition of approximately 200 acres, followed by site studies, master planning, infrastructure design, zoning, approvals, and campaign preparation.

  4. 2032–2035

    Prepare and Build

Complete infrastructure, utilities, roads, drainage, site preparation, design, fundraising, and phased construction while the flagship continues operating.

  5. 2036

    Open the First Campus Village

Open a complete first permanent-campus phase designed for approximately 400 students, including ~50 boarding students, all 25 family homes, academic and leadership facilities, creator studios and performance spaces, essential athletic facilities, dining and hospitality operations, health and wellness services, and outdoor learning spaces.

  6. Beyond 2036

    Expand Toward Full Capacity

Grow in phases toward 1,000 students, 250 boarding students, expanded creator and athletic facilities, advanced law, hospitality, and technology pathways, and additional enterprise, residential, and community spaces.

All dates and milestones are planning targets subject to readiness, fundraising, approvals, enrolment, land acquisition, and construction conditions.
