AmeriXa
Real voices, a real campus, built in the open.
AmeriXa gathers American voices into one growing record and builds the online campus where that work happens. This page is the front door: read what it is, walk the rooms, and tell us how you would like to take part.
We are in the building phase. There are 55 rooms in the approved design — 12 House rooms, 7 rainbow rooms and 36 numbered rooms — and none of them are live yet. Schedules, hosts, ages and who may take part are still being decided.
What AmeriXa is made of
Voice
Real Americans speaking in their own words, on their own terms, about the things they actually care about.
Story
Family history, community memory, work, faith, migration, service, art. The record that rarely gets written down.
Future
What we are building next, told by the people who will live in it — students, elders, makers, organizers, neighbors.
How taking part works
- 01
Share your interest
Fill out the participation form in your own words. It takes about ten minutes, and nothing about it is a test.
- 02
We read every submission
A small team reviews each form personally. We are looking for honesty and willingness, not polish.
- 03
A conversation
If there is a fit, we reach out by email to talk about the project, your role, and your comfort level.
- 04
Consent, then participation
Nothing is recorded, published, or shared until you — and a parent or guardian for anyone under 18 — give separate written permission.
For families
Applying for a place.
A young person can apply themselves, or a parent can fill it in with them. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian name, email and phone, and that adult has to confirm on the form that they approve.
There is no cost to apply and no experience is needed. Applying does not enroll anyone: no room is open yet, and no start dates, hosts or age groups are set. Nothing is charged at any point in this form.
- 1
Send the application
About ten minutes. You get a confirmation number on the screen and by email.
- 2
Someone reads it
It lands in a staff queue the moment you send it. A person reads it — nothing is decided automatically.
- 3
You hear back
The team emails you either way, with a written reason. Sign in any time to see where your application stands.
