Project AmeriXa

A national story, told by the people living it.

Project AmeriXa is a long-form storytelling and participation initiative from JRX Academy. It gathers the voices, memories, questions, and creative work of everyday Americans — students, parents, elders, artists, workers, organizers, neighbors — into one growing record of who we are and what we are building next.

Project AmeriXa leads. The Interdependence Framework is the core that animates it.

The Work

Three things we are gathering

Voice

Real Americans speaking in their own words, on their own terms, about the things they actually care about.

Story

Family history, community memory, work, faith, migration, service, art. The record that rarely gets written down.

Future

What we are building next, told by the people who will live in it — students, elders, makers, organizers, neighbors.

Participation

Who takes part

There is no audition standard and no professional requirement. If you have a story, a skill, a question, or simply the willingness to show up, there is a place for you.

  • Students and young people with something to say
  • Parents, elders, and grandparents holding family history
  • Artists, musicians, dancers, writers, and spoken-word performers
  • Photographers, filmmakers, and behind-the-scenes builders
  • Teachers, mentors, coaches, and community leaders
  • Veterans, tradespeople, first responders, and small business owners
  • Researchers, historians, and civic organizers
  • Anyone who has never done anything like this before

The Process

How participation works

  1. 01

    Share your interest

Fill out the participation form in your own words. It takes about ten minutes, and nothing about it is a test.

  2. 02

    We read every submission

A small team reviews each form personally. We are looking for honesty and willingness, not polish.

  3. 03

    A conversation

If there is a fit, we reach out by email to talk about the project, your role, and your comfort level.

  4. 04

    Consent, then participation

Nothing is recorded, published, or shared until you — and a parent or guardian for anyone under 18 — give separate written permission.

The Core

What animates Project AmeriXa

Every conversation, recording, and community project in Project AmeriXa runs on one philosophy: interdependence. It unfolds in five chapters — the Declaration (why), the Principles (what), the Practice (how), Conscious Community (where), and the Coordinated Responsibility Toolkit (do).

The Interdependence Framework

Develop Capacity. Connect Responsibility. Build Together.

One philosophy, unfolding from belief into action: Declaration, Principles, Practice, Conscious Community, and the Coordinated Responsibility Toolkit.

Independence develops capacity.
Interdependence connects capacity to shared purpose.

From Human Dignity to Shared Future

Five chapters around one spine

Distinct parts. Connected purpose.

Chapter 01 · Why

What We Affirm

We affirm the equal human worth and inherent dignity of every person.

We affirm freedom as both a right and a responsibility.

  • Human dignity

    Every person possesses equal worth.

  • Freedom

    Freedom protects the individual.

  • Responsibility

    Responsibility connects choice to consequence.

  • Individuality

    Developed individuals make interdependence possible.

  • Difference

Identity, culture, history, and belief bring distinct value.

  • Cooperation

People can hold conviction and still work together.

  • Contribution

Gifts become useful when they meet real work.

  • Shared future

Consequences travel; responsibility travels with them.

Independence develops capacity.
Interdependence connects capacity to shared purpose.

Our differences remain visible.
Our humanity remains shared.
Our future is shared.

Belief becomes clear when principles name it. Continue to the Principles.

Chapter 02 · What

Each principle carries a meaning, a question, and a practice. Expand any principle for the full reading.

  2. Capacity
  3. Freedom
  4. Responsibility
  5. Difference
  6. Cooperation
  7. Contribution
  8. Coordination
  9. Shared Purpose
  10. Future

Principles become useful in motion. Continue to the Practice.

Chapter 03 · How

Six Moves

SeeClarifyContributeCoordinateReviewNext Move

See: Describe the shared situation in plain language.

See → Clarify → Contribute → Coordinate → Review → Next Move

  • What can I carry?
  • What can you carry?
  • Where do our responsibilities connect?

Shared problems call for coordinated responsibility.

Practice repeated together becomes culture. Continue to Conscious Community.

Chapter 04 · Where

Conditions for Flourishing Together

Five conditions carry relationships and trust, unity in diversity, accountability and repair, meaningful participation, mentorship, responsible use of power, and future generations.

  1. Every person enters community with dignity.

Dignity shapes how people are welcomed, heard, supported, challenged, corrected, and treated.

Human worth remains constant through achievement, struggle, disagreement, correction, and growth.

How does this community honor the dignity of every person?

    • Listen with respect
    • Protect safety
    • Establish healthy boundaries
    • Tell the truth
    • Create fair processes
    • Separate human worth from performance
    • Provide pathways for accountability and repair
  1. Dignity
  2. Belonging
  3. Contribution
  4. Coordination
  5. Stewardship

Develop the individual. Strengthen the whole.

Culture becomes action when responsibility connects. Continue to the Toolkit.

Chapter 05 · Do

Coordinated Responsibility Toolkit

Work a real challenge here. Six tools follow the practice cycle, and the Master Canvas combines them into one printable page.

0 of 6 tools started. Your answers stay on this device.

  1. Describe the situation in plain language.

People, families, groups, and systems involved.

    Facts, observations, and open questions.

Carry Your Part. Connect the Work. Show What Changed.

The Question Has Changed.

Freedom taught us how to stand.

Interdependence asks what we are standing for.

  • Develop capacity.
  • Bring your gifts.
  • Carry responsibility.
  • Connect the work.
  • Show what changed.
  • Steward what comes next.

Our differences remain visible.
Our humanity remains shared.
Our future is shared.

The answer will be measured by what we build next.
