Project AmeriXa · National Casting & Participation Call

Your voice. Your story. Our future.

We are looking for real people across America to take part in Project AmeriXa — a national record of who we are, told by the people living it. You do not need experience, a headshot, or a résumé. You only need something you want to say.

Free to submit · Open to all ages with guardian consent · No experience necessary

The Invitation

This is an open door, not an audition

Most national projects go looking for polish. This one goes looking for truth. Project AmeriXa is built from the voices of students, parents, elders, artists, workers, mentors, and neighbors — people whose stories usually never make it into the record.

You may end up on camera, on stage, behind a lens, in a research room, or in a community project. There is no wrong way to take part, and no story too ordinary to matter.

Who We Are Looking For

Everyday people with something to say

We are looking for

  • Students and young people with something to say
  • Parents, elders, and grandparents holding family history
  • Artists, musicians, dancers, writers, and spoken-word performers
  • Photographers, filmmakers, and behind-the-scenes builders
  • Teachers, mentors, coaches, and community leaders
  • Veterans, tradespeople, first responders, and small business owners
  • Researchers, historians, and civic organizers
  • Anyone who has never done anything like this before

You do not need

  • Professional experience or credits
  • A headshot, résumé, or performance reel
  • Training, an agent, or a following
  • A particular look, accent, background, or belief
  • Perfection of any kind

If you have never done anything like this before, you are exactly who this call is for.

How It Works

Four steps, at your pace

  1. 01

    Share your interest

Fill out the participation form in your own words. It takes about ten minutes, and nothing about it is a test.

  2. 02

    We read every submission

A small team reviews each form personally. We are looking for honesty and willingness, not polish.

  3. 03

    A conversation

If there is a fit, we reach out by email to talk about the project, your role, and your comfort level.

  4. 04

    Consent, then participation

Nothing is recorded, published, or shared until you — and a parent or guardian for anyone under 18 — give separate written permission.

Safety, Consent & Protection

Your story stays yours

You control your story

You decide what you share, and you can stop at any point. Submitting a form is not a commitment to appear in anything.

Consent is separate and specific

This form does not grant permission to publish your name, image, voice, story, performance, or creative work. That permission is collected separately, in writing, for a stated use.

Minors are protected

Anyone under 18 participates only with parent or guardian approval, and a guardian may be present for any recorded conversation.

Private by default

Submissions and any optional files you upload are visible only to the small Project AmeriXa review team. They are never sold, listed, or made public.

No cost, ever

There is no fee to submit, to be considered, or to participate. We will never ask you to pay for a role.

Declaration of Interdependence

Independence develops capacity. Interdependence connects capacity to shared purpose. The declaration sets out human dignity, freedom with responsibility, difference that strengthens the whole, and the seven commitments that guide this work.

Questions Families Ask

Straight answers

Do I need acting or performance experience?

No. Most people we speak with have never done anything like this. We are looking for real voices, not trained ones.

Do I need a headshot or a résumé?

No. Optional photos or samples are welcome if you already have them, but they are never required and they are not how we decide.

Is there any cost?

No. There is no submission fee, application fee, or participation fee at any stage.

Can my child participate?

Yes, with a parent or guardian. Guardian contact information and approval are required for anyone under 18, and a guardian may attend any recorded session.

What happens to what I share?

It is stored privately and read only by the review team. Nothing is published without separate written permission from you.

Does submitting mean I have been selected?

No. Submitting an interest form does not guarantee selection. We reply by email either way when a decision is made about your submission.

What if I only want to work behind the scenes?

That is a real role. Research, production, photography, community projects, and event support all matter as much as anything on camera.

How long does the form take?

About ten minutes. Every open question is optional — answer what you want to answer.

One More Thing

The country is a story. You are already part of it.

Whether you speak, sing, build, research, or simply sit down and remember out loud, your contribution belongs in the record. Take ten minutes and tell us who you are.
