JRX Academy

Homeschool + community students

Already homeschooling? You can still be part of JRX.

Selected JRX Quests can complement a student's existing homeschool experience through projects, skills, relationships, leadership opportunities, technology, arts, athletics, community experiences, and other areas of interest. Participation may range from a single Quest to recurring experiences, depending on availability.

JRX does not replace your homeschool program unless your family chooses full enrollment.

Quest-only

Participate without full enrollment.

Some young people stay connected to JRX through selected Quests and community experiences without enrolling as full-time JRX Academy students. This pathway is especially useful for homeschool families and for students exploring whether JRX is a good long-term fit.
  • Join one Quest, or several across the year
  • Meet mentors, practitioners, and Good Souls
  • Work on projects with other young people
  • Build real evidence of learning through Show & Prove
  • Experience JRX culture before any bigger decision
  • Keep your homeschool program exactly as it is

Quest participation does not automatically require future enrollment.

Finding a Quest

How to see what is actually open.

Approved public Quests and sessions appear on the Quests calendar and Specials Quests pages. Each one carries a status so you can tell at a glance where it stands.

Not every Quest is open to every participant.

Availability may depend on developmental stage and age, Quest requirements, capacity, host approval, scheduling and location, safety considerations, available support, whether the experience is public, invite only, or internal. When a Quest can be confirmed on the website, you will see Register. When JRX needs to review age, requirements, or capacity first, you will see Express Interest.
