About the role
The Chief Academic Officer designs and defends the learning engine of JRX — personalized computer-based core academics supported by live Academic Specialists, portfolio evidence, and growth data families can actually read.
What you'll do
- Define curriculum, pacing, and mastery expectations across all grade bands
- Lead, coach, and evaluate Academic Specialists and Success Specialists
- Own the assessment and Visible Learning reporting cycle
- Design professional development that raises instructional quality every term
- Ensure academics and Quests reinforce, rather than compete with, each other
What we look for
- Experience leading academic programs or instructional teams at scale
- Strong grasp of adaptive/blended learning platforms and mastery-based progression
- Demonstrated results moving student achievement
