About the role
The Head of School is the steward of the JRX model. You set the tone for a school where every student is known by name, holds a pathway, and graduates with visible evidence of their growth. You lead the executive team, own the relationship with the Board, and keep academics, Quests, mentoring, and operations moving as one system.
What you'll do
- Own the academic and cultural vision across academics, the Specials Quests, and Good Souls Mentorship
- Build, coach, and hold accountable a full executive team
- Partner with the Board on strategy, governance, and the Future Campus 2036 roadmap
- Represent JRX with families, community partners, funders, and press
- Safeguard student well-being, compliance, and the integrity of the model
What we look for
- Significant leadership experience in schools, youth development, or a mission-driven organization
- Track record building teams and improving outcomes for students furthest from opportunity
- Fluency with data, budgets, and board-level communication
- Deep belief that character and academics grow together
