About the role

Specials Quests Instructors are contracted one Quest at a time: you commit to a single Quest cycle for a specific age group, teach the sessions, and may renew for future cycles. This keeps the door open for working professionals, artists, athletes, and specialists who want to teach without leaving their craft. The Athletics Quest develops physical fitness, resilience, discipline, and teamwork through sports, movement, outdoor adventure, and lifelong wellness. Students strengthen both body and mind while learning leadership, perseverance, healthy competition, and respect for others.

What you'll do

Plan and lead Athletics Quest sessions for Middle School (6–8) students
Adapt the session arc to the age group's skill level, attention, and safety needs
Track attendance, participation, and evidence of student growth for each session
Coordinate materials, spaces, and setup with the Quest Coordinator
Prepare students for the end-of-cycle showcase or demonstration of learning

What we look for

Real skill or professional experience in athletics
Comfort working with Middle School (6–8) students
Availability for a full Quest cycle, including weekday and/or weekend sessions
Background check clearance before the first session
